As previously mentioned, here, the way with which politicians ignore and break rules that everybody else must live many really sticks in my throat.

Of course, they always say that these decisions are taken with everybody's best interests, but this is a lie, they are just trying to save their own skins. (A great 3 min video here on why consensus politics is a sham, and how 100% of citizens could get what THEY want.)

The most recent example is the warning by Standard and Poor's that the latest (fifth) eurozone bailout of Greece. It is a case of "be careful what you wish for".

When the crisis broke in 2007 the credit ratings agencies were blamed for giving toxic loans AAA credit ratings.

Now that the rating agencies are taking their job seriously and rating loans on merit, the European "powers that be" have decided to ignore them, because it does not fit with the harebrained scheme they have created.

All the financial market commentary I have read likens this latest attempt as kicking a can down the road- but now the can is full of high explosives.
