The "Great Game" being played on us all

Understanding the great game

Reading The Prince, by Machiavelli, was more a curse than boon. Cassandra was condemned to foresee, but not be believed. While Juno the vigilante remained true to primordial, honest, money.

Today, it is the genius of Machiavelli to whom we turn, and to a modern master of his writing.

Our benevolent friend, and media mogul, Rupert Murdoch has been attacked. As with Libya, it is not immediately apparent by whom, or why.

Our guess is that this is a guerrilla, or opportunistic, attack that has gained ground, but it is probably a skirmish in the greater game.

Eustace Mullins, for those that are not familiar, wrote "the Secrets of the Federal Reserve". A must read for anybody interested in 'money, and from whence it came.'

Mullins also wrote "Who Owns the TV Networks?" attached below.

This got us wondering just how much of Newscorp Inc, Rupert Murdoch and his family control. The answer is very interesting, and something others are also interested in.

I mean lets be blunt, Newscorp is one of the most powerful institutions on the planet with the ability to form opinion like few others. (Xinhua, the Chies press agency or That other Commissariat, known as the BBC perhaps?).

I think most would agree that it is kind of odd that such a powerful institution was being passed from father to son, Emperor like. (And then on to the 'younger' son, becaue elder moved on)

I mean, this company has a market capitalisation of around $50,000 million, ($50 Billion in new money) and the reality is a little more interesting.

According to Channel 4 (I have not seen the program) the Newscorp corporate structure is "bizarre":

Bizarre corporate structure

The developments of the past 10 days highlight the bizarre corporate structure and governance structure of the company. It is often described as Mr Murdoch's company, but in reality the Murdoch family trusts only own around 12 per cent of News Corp shares.

They are able to exercise control over the company because of its unusual corporate structure. Only 30 per cent of the company's shares have voting rights, and 40 per cent of those voting shares are in Murdoch hands.

So the company is worth $50,000 million, Mr Murdoch has around $6,000 million of skin in the game, or twelve percent.

According to C4, only 30% of the stock is free floating with voting rights, so who owns the remaining 70% of nonvoting? Meaning who gets the dividends?

Furthermore, of the free floating Mr Murdoch dominates with 40% of the vote. How and Why?

Interesting. Very interesting indeed, and this brings us to Mullins:

"Who Owns the TV Networks?" by Eustace Mullins

Many observers have noticed the striking similarity of the programs offered to the public by the three "independent" television networks. For the first time, we present a detailed study of the directors of the three networks, revealing their interlocking banking and industrial connections, indicating that, instead of three major networks, we actually have only one.

If you do not download, read and spread this attachment, there is little hope.

A crisis is a terrible thing to waste, and it is not too late. Opt out of the system; protect yourself and those closest to you.

It is easy.

Giove us a call and ask us how.
