Stuart has more than 20 years of financial management experience.

Following the October 1987 stock market crash Stuart served a further 6 years in fund management with Allied Capital, Inc before joining New World Rarities for 9 years as president, international sales. Today, using his international contacts, Stuart advises many clients who are are household names in sports and entertainment.

He also spent 5 years, full and part time, as project director and lead financier for South Sea Resources Ltd, a marine archaeological expedition in the South China Sea in search of the famed Manila Galleons.

Considered the largest treasure ships ever to sail the seas, Manila Galleons were constructed from tropical hard woods and were up to four times the size of the Caribbean Galleon. As much as two thirds of all the gold and silver mined in the New World was shipped to Asia. The project is ongoing, still supported by Signature Rarities, in search of four documented vessels known to have sunk between 1576 and 1789 with combined cargoes of gold and silver specie in excess of $4 Billion at today’s prices.
